This chart is taken from the nbc13.com website poll that ran the payday loan article.  It was taken from the web site on December 3, 2006.

Notice NBC did not bother to ask the questions, "Did the service help you?", "Were you pleased with the service?" or "Would you use a payday advance service again?"

Even the NBC on-line, non-scientific poll shows that only 13% of respondents had a negative payday loan experience.  Probably a reasonable number if you consider payday loans have been available for at least five years and before state oversight rates and operators were not monitored or regulated.  So for five years that works out to less than 8 instances a month where someone had a negative report.  That's "8" times a month out of millions of transactions! 

Actually, that is a record most companies would be proud to promote.
